uLaw wins Sourceforge Spring 2024 award Top Performer in Law Practice Management
The uLaw team is pleased to announce it is the winner of the Spring 2024 Top Performer Award at Sourceforge.net
When it comes to Law Practice Management, the category uLaw won in, uLaw stands out due to the fact it also offers comprehensive legal accounting for its users so they can perform all clerical components of running their legal business.
Nevertheless, this award is a great testament to the work uLaw has put into its product since 2010, and this couldn't have been achieved without the continued support of our loyal user-base, who often suggest new features for our compliance coding team to implement.
SourceForge is the world’s largest software and services review and comparison website. This award recognizes exceptional companies and products with a significant amount of recent favorable user reviews that puts them in the top tenth percentile of highly reviewed products on SourceForge.
According to the President of SourceForge, Logan Abbot, "uLaw showed that their users love them, as evidenced by the significant amount of outstanding user reviews."
Since the advent of cloud computing, uLaw has closely monitored changes in the legal framework regarding the regulation of lawyers in all Canadian provinces, and also from courts.
For instance, hundreds of custom court forms for many different provinces are templatized so that users can repeatedly make use of the data they've inputted into the system in order to cut down on time spent making (potentially erroneous) keystrokes.
With accounting procedures in mind, uLaw also handles this. The software uses Law Society compliance guidelines as its blueprint; constraining users so they're in compliance without even realizing. This makes a practice audit so much easier to conduct, since books and records are professionally managed under the watchful constrains of the program itself, which is available via a web browser.
