Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2000, she began her career in civil litigation at McCarthy Tétrault, where she articled.
Justice Shin's public service is marked by significant roles within the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario. Most recently, she served as general counsel in the criminal law division, handling complex legal matters such as homicides and appeals to the Court of Appeal.
