uLaw new feature: Event Timeline

Depending on which area of practice you are working in, some legal matters can take place over a very long period of time.
Some legal matters take place over the course of several months or years. Because of this, it can sometimes be a little difficult to discern the order of events that have transpired, from start to finish.
uLawPractice now has a feature which makes it possible to view this--it's a tool called Event Timeline
Event Timeline: a new tool

Despite having a "Matters" interface, which shows all the events, trust transfers, disbursements, invoices, fees, applications and so on, there is a way to visually graph how these events took place through time.
By navigating to Matters->Event Timeline (Button with cylinders, adjoined by lines in centre of interface), uLaw will collate each of the events and display them in a visual graph like the one seen below.

Now, when you navigate over certain components of the event timeline, it will display even more information. As in the example above, we can see that there is a running calculation of the lifetime of the legal matter.

With insights such as the above it is easy to see the profitability of the matter, once time is taken into consideration in addition to the actual time spent handling the matter through that period of time.
